It should use a temperature based logic control system<br \/>\nto provide optimum control of the working conditions and<br \/>\nincorporate a high capacity thermal oxidizing secondary room.<br \/>\n It should be designed to retain the exhaust gases, for at least two seconds to make sure the unit&#8217;s effective destruction of the combustion<br \/>\nproducts.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; All the incinerators to be provided and installed meet the<br \/>\nWaste Management Regulation 2006, legal notice No. 121 of<br \/>\n29th September 2006 and specifically 3rd schedule regulation<br \/>\n(26, 47) pertaining classification, standards, criteria, and<br \/>\nprocess for installing and operating incinerators.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The capacity of the incinerator required should be to the<br \/>\nspecifications with a capacity to burn 100kgs\/Hr.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The incinerator shall be run on a three-phase power supply<br \/>\n(mains).<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; For the technical analysis, not only the treatment plant but<br \/>\nthe whole system will be considered.  It will be the responsibility<br \/>\nof the Bidder to provide a full system, including all eventually<br \/>\nadditionally necessary secondary systems and additional<br \/>\nequipment.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The machine offered shall be designed to function normally under<br \/>\nthe conditions of the purchaser&#8217;s country.  The conditions include<br \/>\nPower Supply, Climate, Temperature, Humidity, etc.<br \/>\n\u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Bidder must provide a guarantee for one year.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; All text, parameter etc. on all control working ports as<br \/>\nwell as on information screens and on print-outs will be in<br \/>\nEnglish language.<br \/>\n  The Bidder shall provide all the essential documentation to be able to facilitate the legal requirements for the<br \/>\ninstallation and putting into use of their equipment.  <\/p>\n<p> \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Period of Execution is 90 days from contract signature for<br \/>\ndelivery to site and completion of verification operations<br \/>\nrequired for the issuance of provisional acceptance.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Representatives of the Contracting Authority and the<br \/>\nBeneficiary, together with all the Bidder&#8217;s representative, shall<br \/>\nexecute the controls, testing and initial approval for provisional<br \/>\nand final approval.  The provisional and final acceptance shall<br \/>\ntake place at the last destination.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;After-Sales Service: The Bidder is required to ensure that a<br \/>\nmaintenance, service and repair centre, which is approved by<br \/>\nthe Manufacturer, and which is able to quickly supply genuine<br \/>\nspare parts and consumables recommended by the Manufacturer<br \/>\nis available throughout the one year guarantee period.  In<br \/>\nfulfillment of the condition with their offer, bidders must<br \/>\nsubmit a statement signed by the manufacturer or representative<br \/>\nof this manufacturer:<br \/>\n\u0366 Providing the name and address of its authorized<br \/>\nmaintenance, service and repair centre,<br \/>\n\u0366 Confirming that this authorized maintenance, service and<br \/>\nrepair facility is able to quickly supply genuine spare parts and<br \/>\nthe consumables recommended by the Manufacturer; and<br \/>\n\u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Bidder will be responsible to deliver and install all<br \/>\nequipment provided to the hospitals in the<br \/>\nRepublic of Kenya.  The Bidder shall deliver a time program within the whole construction and building period.  The delivery<br \/>\nand installation time must be agreed between bidders, target<br \/>\nHospital and the Contracting Authority.  The treatment plant must<br \/>\narrive pre-assembled. It&#8217;s carried from the floor level on a<br \/>\nsignificant steel support frame.  Internally the shell is lined with<br \/>\ncalcium silicate insulation and a hot face mixture of superb duty brickwork or high strength castable.<br \/>\n \u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The main combustion chamber must ensure minimum exit<br \/>\ntemperature is less than 850\u00b0C.<br \/>\n One Manual Load Incinerator comprising:<br \/>\n\u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manual Loading door (heavy duty steel door with proper refractory lining)<br \/>\n\u25aa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Horizontal solid hearth, refractory lined main combustion<br \/>\nchamber.
